Ward for adults I
This 11-bed unit is for patients more than 26 years of age with intractable epilepsy often of considerable duration, and as a consequence the majority have social and psychological problems.

As a result the average length of stay is from 6 weeks to 3 months.

The multidisciplinary team plays an important part in the hospitals treatment, most of the patients attend the school for adults and take part in other forms of activity.

The multidisciplinary approach continues in outpatient follow-up by telephone interviews with regular intervals.
